Accessibility Features at Our Store
Mobility Access:
Entrance is wheelchair and mobility device-friendly with a ramp and wide-opening doors. We have a smaller ramp at the door, and have a secondary set of larger ramps. Please see images below.
Interior layout accommodates mobility devices and prams.
Sensory Considerations:
Our store does not use aerosol sprays. We strive towards a scent-minimized environment but occasionally there is a oil infuser with a lavender and cinnamon mist after rainy days.
Generally there is no background music, on Weds and Thurs there may be quiet jazz and you may request this turned off beforehand or in-store.
Lighting options include brighter overheads with an orange tone overlay and softer lamp lighting in the evenings to suit different needs.
Communication:
We are in the process of installing a hearing loop and will notify our customers once available.
Seating and Amenities:
A variety of seating options are available to accommodate many body sizes, if you find there is not seating available for you please let us know so we can accommodate you on your next visit!
Complimentary teas, coffee, and snacks are provided.
We plan to have an accessible toilet in the future and will provide updates on this improvement. Currently we only have a staff loo - available when asked.
